The Long Baseline Observatory enables leading edge research at radio wavelengths by providing telescope, facility and advanced instrumentation access to the astronomy community. The LBO is the observatory home to the Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA). It was established in October of 2016 after separating from the NRAO.
